Paoli, PA, is a perfect spot for history buffs, lovers of fun, and great food. One of our community’s most popular attractions is Valley Forge National Historical Park. The park lies on 3,500 acres and was the site of the third winter encampment of the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War. Stroll through the historical buildings, recreated encampment structures, museums, and recreation facilities.
Historic Sugartown is an intact, carefully restored 19th-century village. The town was an active social, educational, and commercial center throughout the 1800s. Today, you can enjoy a guided tour of eight unique buildings, including the General Store and the Book Bindery. The Book Bindery houses a vast collection of bookbinding equipment and offers a variety of workshops throughout the year.
The American Helicopter Museum & Education Center is an excellent place to learn about rotary wing aviation history, science, and technology. The center’s collection houses 40 helicopters of the civilian and military variety and is one of two museums worldwide with a V-22 Osprey on display. There is also a research library on-site that is available for use by museum members.
Are you planning a family fun day? Treehouse World is the go-to for a day full of kid-friendly excitement. The venue offers more than ten unique treehouses, a zipline tour, ax throwing, and an obstacle course. For the younger members of your troop, visit Pirate’s Cove. This area, designed for children ages 2-8, features an elevated walkway around the site, and tunnels through the hedgerow. Treehouse World also hosts birthday parties and offers treehouse-building workshops.
After you’ve worked up an appetite exploring all Paoli, PA has to offer, visit Trattoria San Nicola for a bite to eat. The restaurant has hand painted murals, authentic Italian cuisine, and a menu with something for everyone, including pasta, soups, hot and cold appetizers, fish and more. You can wrap up your meal with a delectable dessert, including cheesecake and cannoli.
In the mood for a frozen treat? Stop by Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream. Family-owned since 2005, Handel’s makes ice cream on the premises daily. They have over 100 ice cream flavor options, including interesting options such as green tea and salty caramel truffle. The shop also has sherbets and vegan sorbets to choose from.

My family has been using WC for over 20 years and now that I’m going through an entire house refresh, I went with WC again. Doris and Charlie made the process very easy and fun - I went into the showroom and picked out all my treatments and fabrics (colors, styles, etc.) with Doris. Then Charlie came out and took the precise measurements. Josh and Andrew did the installation and it was seamless from start to finish. I re-did 3 bedrooms, an office, and a hall sliding door - this included a combination of window shades and drapery for 12 windows total AND furniture re-upholstery (they do it all).
